The NEOM meeting for the construction sector, which took place over 4 days, ended in the presence of 150 international and local companies in the design and construction sector in Saudi Arabia.
The meeting included a definition of Neom, his ambitious vision and plans that support Vision 2030 and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz’s ambitious direction to build a better future, according to the Saudi news agency.
Among the activities of the meeting was a tour of NEOM logistics complex, which includes units and buildings housing 30,000 workersIn addition to offices, warehouses and construction service centers, the NEOM logistics complex, which extends over aarea of 12 square kilometers, it will serve all construction phases over the next few years and will be one of the largest temporary logistics complexes in the world.
Commenting on the meeting, NEOM CEO, engineer Nadhmi Al-Nasr, said: “NEOM is interested in the future of design and construction and presents a positive image of how projects should be, especially as the scale of the project requires a strong and solid partnership between NEOM and the entire global industrial chain to realize NEOM’s vision in the field.
On the other hand, NEOM Senior Project Manager Brett Smith said: “What we have witnessed in this meeting confirms the great interest in what we are working to achieve here in NEOM. This interest is not only linked to the size of the project, but also to the way in which the work is implemented.We are serious about building NEOM in a completely different way and lead the industry towards technical progress and increase innovation and efficiency.
