Detroit started playing Thanksgiving in 1934 and Dallas started in 1966. In 2006 the league added a third league game featuring different teams each year giving fans and players the chance to get to know the NFL tradition in the Turkey.

The headliner of the day should be the Bills-Cowboys, as it is the only game to feature two teams with a winning record. Buffalo (8-3) has been quietly under the radar this season and is ready to make the playoffs for the second time in three seasons as he tries to get a Derby win (6-5). Meanwhile, the Bears (5-6) look to be back at .500 when facing the Lions (3-7-1).

New Orleans (9-2) travels to Atlanta (3-8) as it struggles to secure a playoff spot and its third season with 10 or more wins.

How To Watch NFL Thanksgiving Live-stream Games

Here’s how you can catch every game on Thanksgiving.

The bears against the lions

For the 86th consecutive year, the Lions will play Thanksgiving.

While Detroit got off to a good start with a 2-0-1 record, the team has lost from the rails in recent months having lost seven of its last eight games. Not to mention that General Matthew Stafford has not played since Week 9 due to an injured back and hip and is not expected to return soon.

On the other hand, bears seem to be hitting their stride. After falling four straight earlier this season, Chicago has won two of its last three and looks to make three of its last four on Thanksgiving.

Detroit’s all-time Thanksgiving record is 37-40-2.

Accounts vs. Cowboys

Dallas makes his 52nd Thanksgiving appearance as he hosts the startup accounts.

After a 3-0 start, many returned to the Cowboys as Super Bowl contenders. But a 3-5 record since then has many doubts about the American team, and in particular, coach Jason Garrett. Despite his signed game, Dallas is still the driver in the NFC East and with a favorable schedule the rest of the way. However, the Cowboys have to deal with a bunch of radar balances.

Buffalo has not won anyone, but that should not underestimate what he is doing this season. Goalkeeper Josh Allen is playing the best football of his career at the moment having thrown 10 touchdowns and only one interception in his last six games. A win on Thursday would help buffer Buffalo’s eyes on both experts and fans, but things are not at all easier as the Bills have to face Baltimore and New England in the final weeks of the season.

The Cowboys are 31-19-1 all the time on Thanksgiving.

Saints against Hawks

  • Kickoff: 8:20 pm ET
  • Television (national): NBC

For the second consecutive year, the French and the Saints meet on Thanksgiving.

Last season, the two teams met in New Orleans, where the Saints sent the Falcons pack after a 31-17 win. Atlanta is not only seeking revenge this season, but it looks to sweep the season with New Orleans and hurt the Saints’ chances of being a top seed in the NFC playoff picture.

The two teams met earlier this season on November 10, where the Falcons trapped the Saints 26-9 in Drew Brees’ first game after injuring his thumb in Week 2. Despite their poor record, the Falcons have played better in recent weeks. winning two of their last three.

However, much more is at stake for New Orleans as it can secure NFC South for the third season with a win on Thursday.
