United States Vice President Kamala Harris e former First Lady Michelle Obama would, by a large margin, be the Democratic Party’s first choice for 2024 presidential election, if the president in charge Joe Biden will not run, a new survey shows.
According to the Hill-HarrisX survey, Harris enjoys the support of 13% of interviewed while Obama, who insists that he has no presidential ambitions despite his popularity among Democratic voters, he received 10%.
Other candidates – 2020 campaign participants Senators Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Cory Booker, former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, and Businessman Andrew Yang garnered support of 5% or less.
Among the 939 registered voters who took part in the survey on On November 18 and 19, 36% admitted they weren’t sure which one party choice they would make vote for, while 13% said their favorite candidates were not listed.
Out of those interviewees who voted for Biden in 2020, 22% would be willing to support Harris.
