3 Israeli settlers and their Palestinian attacker were killed

Three Israelis were killed yesterday in an attack carried out by a Palestinian near a settlement in West Bank, while the attacker was killed by Israeli security forces, according to Israeli and Palestinian sources. According to the Israeli emergency service, two Israelis were stabbed to death, while the third was killed while chasing the attacker in the industrial area near the settlement of Ariel in the central West Bank, before the attacker was “neutralized”, according to the Israeli army. For its part, the Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed the killing of an “unidentified” Palestinian. Furthermore, Israel has announced that it will not cooperate with an investigation opened by the Federal Bureau of US Investigation (FBI) into the killing of Palestinian-American journalist Sherine Abu Aqleh during her coverage of an Israeli raid on the city of Jenin in the occupied West Bank. Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz said Israel would not cooperate with any outside investigation into the killing of Palestinian-American journalist Sherine Abu Aqleh. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of the United States had opened an investigation into the murder of the journalist, after she was shot while covering an Israeli raid in the city of Jenin, in the occupied West Bank, last May. While Gantz said the US Department of Justice’s decision to investigate Sherine Abu Aqleh’s death was a “fatal mistake,” the US Department of Justice and the FBI declined to comment on the reports.
