Anthony “AJ” Elfalak, who is autistic and non-verbal, was found Monday morning in a nearby riverbank after Friday’s disappearance. from the boy father told the guard that AJ was “clinging” to his mother and will be reviewed in a local hospital.
“It is a miracle. He was bitten by ants and he fell over, but he lives. He’s alive. It is awesome. My leg, my hips, my ankles, I can’t walk. I have been in the Bush for four days with no sleep. We haven’t stopped,” Anthony Elfalak told The Guardian.

Anthony Elfalak called the discovery a “miracle”: De family checked the adjacent riverbank just a day before the police and did not find the boy. AJ was spotted by a helicopter die was drinking from the riverbank, all soaked in water.
Anthony Elfalak said his son has “never strayed” offand the incident is highly unusual. The Elfalak family moved to the property just months ago after Anthony Elfalak’s was laid off during the COVID-19 lockdown.

“When Mom and Dad hugged him, his ghost was plucked up. He was on the back of the ambulance for about 1.5 hours … sleeping all the time, which was not surprising. As soon as he woke up up, everything huh wanted to do was eat,” Pike told The Guardian.
