36 people were injured when a US plane was exposed to air turbulence

Thirty-six people were injured, 11 of them seriously, when a Hawaiian Airlines plane was subjected to severe turbulence while in drive to Honolulu, the largest city in the state of Hawaii, USA.

And the airline said in a statement that the flight (HA35), bound from “Phoenix” to “Honolulu”, encountered severe air turbulence and landed in security in Honolulu, and medical attention was provided to many passengers and crew members at the airport for minor injuries, while some were taken in hospital for further treatment.

It indicated that the Airbus A330 was carrying 278 passengers and 10 crew when it encountered severe air turbulence as it approached the islands.
