5.1 magnitude earthquake hits Papua New Guinea

An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale struck the coast of the province of Morobi, north of Papua New Guinea today.

According to the US Geological Survey, the epicenter of the quake was located 92 kilometers from the Finshavn region, at a depth of 48.3 kilometers, noting that so far there have been no reports of human or material losses as a result of the earthquake.
