5.4 magnitude earthquake hits Indonesia

An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale shook the coast of Lampung province on the Indonesian island of Sumatra today.

The Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency stated that the epicenter of the earthquake occurred 100 km from the Tangamos region, at a depth of 10 km, noting that there have been no reports of material or human losses as a result of the earthquake.
