7 children drowned, including 6 brothers

Seven children drowned in Egypt, in the city of Qurna, west of Luxor Governorate in Upper Egypt, according to local media, Wednesday.

Reports indicated that there were 6 siblings among the drowned children, noting that river rescue teams recovered the bodies of the children, who died after a motorcycle overturned with three “trocycle” treatments they were riding. And there were 10 people aboard that bicycle before it fell into the canal, a man driving, his wife, and their six children. Also on board were the driver’s mother and another small child from her relatives. Rescue teams managed to save the driver, his wife, and his mother, while the children drowned.
