Big Update for Elden Ring Nightreign: Two-Player Mode Incoming
Gamers, get ready! Elden Ring Nightreign is about to shake things up with an exciting new two-player mode. The update drops next week, and it’s something fans have been eagerly anticipating.
Originally, players could dive into the game solo or team up as a trio, but this latest addition from FromSoftware promises a fresh cooperative experience. Mark your calendars: patch 1.02, packed with quality-of-life enhancements and more filtering options for Relics, will be released on July 30.
Performance and Player Response
Despite a mixed initial response, Elden Ring Nightreign has proven to be a commercial success. Within hours of its launch, it hit a peak of 313,593 concurrent users on Steam, making it the second-highest for a FromSoftware title after the original Elden Ring, which reached 953,426.
In just its first day, the game sold a staggering 2 million copies, and as of this week, it’s surpassed a remarkable 5 million units sold. With the addition of the two-player mode, interest is bound to surge even more.
