Call of Duty just surprised players with some exciting new updates for Zombies fans. Treyarch is set to unleash the action-packed Season 5 for Call of Duty Black Ops 6, launching on August 7 at 9 am PT / 12 pm ET / 5 pm GMT / 6 pm CET across all platforms.
This season promises a wealth of new content, including a fresh final round-based Zombies map called Reckoning. Players will embark on a wild adventure to “avoid an Appalachian apocalypse” as tensions escalate in Janus Towers, marking a significant turning point in the long-standing rivalry between Richtofen and S.A.M.
The newly released trailer gives fans a taste of what’s to come, showcasing the intense atmosphere and thrilling gameplay features that players can expect. But that’s not all—Activision has also dropped a trailer highlighting some of the multiplayer maps debuting this season.
New Multiplayer Maps on the Horizon
Season 5 rolls out with three fascinating multiplayer locations: Runway (6v6), Exchange (6v6/2v2), and the reimagined World Motor Dynasty (6v6), which brings back the beloved WMD from the original Black Ops and its sequels. But there’s more in store! A mid-season update will introduce Jackpot (6v6), a map inspired by Black Ops 4’s intriguing Casino area and influenced by the High Rollers mission from the Black Ops 6 campaign.
As if that weren’t enough to get players hyped, the Battlefield 6 beta will also go live on the same day. EA has laid out the maps, modes, and challenges for this anticipated beta, set to generate plenty of buzz across two weekends.
The gaming landscape is clearly buzzing, especially with the upcoming Call of Duty Black Ops 7, which was teased at June’s Xbox Games Showcase, keeping die-hard fans eagerly waiting for what’s next.
