Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase: A Treasure Trove of New Games
Nintendo has just electrified gamers with its latest Indie World Showcase, revealing 18 exciting titles set to hit the platform.
Leading the charge is Mina the Hollower, the highly anticipated new offering from Yacht Club Games, known for their hit Shovel Knight. This retro-style action game will make its debut on October 31, with a demo available right now for eager players.
In addition to Mina, fans can also dive into UFO 50, a critically acclaimed collection now making its way to the Nintendo Switch. Originally a hit on PC, this compilation features 50 original NES-style games and boasts a stellar Metacritic score of 91. Nominated for several awards, including Best Independent Game at The Game Awards 2024, it promises to be a must-play.
Also hitting the Switch eShop today is Is This Seat Taken?, a quirky puzzle game focused on arranging characters comfortably at a table.
