The event consists of three exciting sessions, each lasting four hours across the weekend of August 9-10. With timed sessions designed to cater to players in different time zones, it ensures that everyone can join the basketball battle.

If players enjoy what they experience in the demo, they won’t have to wait long for the full version. Drag x Drive is officially set to release on Switch 2 on August 14.
In Drag x Drive, players will leverage mouse controls on two Joy-Con 2 controllers to maneuver their wheelchairs in an exhilarating basketball showdown. To make those game-winning shots, simply lift a Joy-Con 2 controller to throw the ball into the basket and score points.
As one reviewer noted, there are still plenty of questions remaining: Will there be more arenas? What about character customization? Are unlockables on the table? Could a single-player mode be added so that players can pursue their basketball dreams independently? As it stands, Drag x Drive showcases an impressive proof of concept with intuitive controls that keep players engaged — often feeling pleasantly exhausted after a good session.
The remaining questions will determine if this title evolves from an intriguing idea to a must-have game for the summer lineup on the Switch 2.
