F1 25 Update 1.025 Patch Notes (Patch 1.25)

The latest update for F1 25, version 1.025 (1.25), was released on September 7, 2026. This patch introduces the full 2026 Formula 2 Championship and implements adjustments to the 2026 regulation handling model, specifically targeting energy deployment and throttle sensitivity.

2026 Formula 2 Championship

The update integrates the complete 2026 F2 roster into the game. This includes all cars and drivers participating in the season. Players can now access the full championship ladder, mirroring the progression from the feeder series to Formula 1.

Handling and Regulation Changes

The 2026 regulation mechanics have been refined, focusing on how power is delivered during high-speed sections and in adverse weather conditions. These changes are designed to simulate the technical requirements of the 2026 Energy Recovery System.

  • Throttle Sensitivity: Straight Mode and DRS now require a throttle input above 90% to remain active. If the input drops below this threshold, the systems will deactivate.
  • Wet Weather Boost: A new limited-deploy “Boost Mode” has been added specifically for wet track conditions, requiring drivers to manage energy reserves when traction is low.

Hardware and Peripherals

Patch 1.25 expands support for racing peripherals. New supported devices include:

  • Simagic P500 and P700 Pedals.
  • Simagic Neo X Hub.
  • Simagic Zeus Formula steering wheels.

Visual Fixes and Technical Improvements

The update addresses graphical inconsistencies in the 2026 car models. The front suspension visual alignment has been corrected for both the 2026 Aston Martin and Haas cars.

The patch is available now for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
