Hasbro Unveils Standalone Aunt May Marvel Legends Figure from 90s Animated Series

An announcement was made by Hasbro during the Hasbro Pulse Fanstream on September 10, 2026, regarding a standalone Marvel Legends figure for May Parker. The figure marks a significant milestone for collectors who have waited nearly three decades for a dedicated, single-carded version of the character in this specific animated style.

While Aunt May is the central emotional pillar of Peter Parker’s life, she was famously absent as a standard action figure in the original 1990s Toy Biz toy line that accompanied the show. This modern release serves as a long-awaited “correction” for completionists, offering the character on a retro-style cardback that mimics the vibrant purple and blue packaging used during the show’s original broadcast run from 1994 to 1998.

This version of Aunt May is the first time the character has been available outside of a multi-pack. She previously appeared in 2023 as part of a VHS-themed two-pack alongside Doctor Octopus. By transitioning her to a standalone release, Hasbro is providing a second chance for fans who missed the previous set or preferred not to purchase the larger, more expensive bundle.

The new figure includes several character-specific accessories designed to enhance display options. In addition to two alternate hands, the package comes with May’s signature purse and a miniature issue of Models, Inc. magazine, which features Mary Jane Watson on the cover—a direct nod to Mary Jane’s career aspirations frequently mentioned in the animated series.

Collectors looking to add the matriarch of the Parker household to their shelves can expect a retail price of approximately $27.99.
