The update arrives just as the Slough House team prepares for the launch of Season 6, which is scheduled to premiere on September 16, 2026. This development cycle has become a hallmark of the series, ensuring viewers rarely wait more than a year for new installments of the Mick Herron adaptation.
Production Status and Showrunner Transition
While Season 6 is the immediate focus for the platform, production on Season 7 has already reached a significant milestone. Filming for the seventh installment reportedly wrapped in late August 2026, positioning the series well ahead of its planned 2027 debut.
