Battlefield 6 Update 1.000.030 Patch Notes (v1.4.3.0)

Battlefield 6 update 1.000.030 (v1.4.3.0) arrives on September 15, 2026, marking the launch of the Tidal Strike content phase. While the global game version is identified as v1.4.3.0, the 1.000.030 designation is specific to the PlayStation 5 build. Preloads for the update are available starting September 14 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

The update introduces the Deep Six Collection Event, which is scheduled to run from September 15 through October 12, 2026. Alongside the event, Battlefield Studios is implementing significant mechanical tests for the REDSEC Battle Royale mode and structural reworks for existing maps.

REDSEC Proximity Chat and Gameplay Adjustments

As part of a test in Battlefield Labs, Proximity Chat is being introduced to the REDSEC Battle Royale mode. This feature allows players to communicate with nearby allies and enemies, though it currently features a four-player simultaneous hearing limit to manage audio clarity. According to Electronic Arts, this is an experimental phase to gather data on player interactions within the mode.

Other specific changes to the REDSEC experience include a reduction in Data Extraction time. The time required to extract data has been lowered from 15 seconds to 5 seconds, aimed at increasing the pace of successful extractions.

Tsuru Reef Map Expansion

The Tsuru Reef map has received a layout overhaul specifically for the Breakthrough game mode. The expansion covers all four sectors of the map. These changes provide more flanking routes for infantry and increased opportunities for boat-based combat, addressing previous bottlenecks in the map’s flow.

Vehicle and Weapon Balance

Update v1.4.3.0 introduces targeted balance shifts for naval combat and marksman efficiency. The AH-6 Little Bird has seen its minigun effectiveness against sea-based targets reduced, while the primary patrol boat has received a durability buff.

  • AH-6 Little Bird: Minigun damage against RCB90 Patrol Boats and ATPs is reduced by 50%.
  • RCB90 Patrol Boat: Total health is increased from 800 to 1000.
  • Interdictor: Minimum damage is increased from 62 to 80, while the “sweet spot” damage is decreased from 150 to 100.

Quality of Life and Systems

To address player frustration regarding non-participating teammates, a new AFK Kick System is now active. This system detects inactive players and removes them from the match after providing an initial warning. This update also includes general performance refinements across all platforms to coincide with the deployment of the Tidal Strike content.
