Apex Legends Update 1.000.134 Patch Notes

Respawn Entertainment released Apex Legends update 1.000.134 on September 14, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. This midseason update focuses on significant reworks for Fuse and Catalyst while introducing nerfs for Axle.

Legend Balancing and Reworks

The update brings a fundamental shift to Fuse by moving his “Knuckle Jump” ability from the Legend Upgrade tree directly into his base kit. This change allows Fuse players to utilize the mobility tool from the start of a match without needing to select it as an upgrade.

Axle has received substantial nerfs. The health of Axle’s Ultimate has been reduced from 200 to 150, making it easier for opposing squads to destroy. Additionally, the base cooldown for his Ultimate has been increased from 90 seconds to 120 seconds.

Catalyst has also seen a mechanical change; she is no longer immune to the passive abilities of other Catalyst players. Meanwhile, Conduit received a quality-of-life improvement; players can now use a toggle to orient her Energy Barricade forward during deployment.

Weapon and Gameplay Adjustments

The Triple Take received a buff to its rate of fire while aiming down sights (ADS), and the capacity for a blue magazine has been raised to 9 rounds.

A change to the Weapon Assist system ensures that when opening the first loot bin while unarmed, the system now allows any available base weapon to spawn.

Map Fixes

This patch implements over 150 map-related fixes. The primary focus of these technical updates is World’s Edge, specifically targeting terrain and collision issues.

Full technical details and additional developer insights regarding these balance shifts can be found on the official Electronic Arts website.
