Respawn Entertainment released Apex Legends update 3.20 on September 14, 2026. This mid-season update focuses on a significant tactical rework for Fuse, integrating mobility into his base kit, and introduces quality-of-life visuals for Conduit to better track shield regeneration during combat.
Legend Overhauls: Fuse and Conduit
The changes in version 3.20 target Fuse, who receives both defensive and utility buffs. His kit now includes a baseline passive of 25% Explosive Damage Resistance, providing more survivability when using his own ordnance or facing enemy grenades. Additionally, the “Knuckle Jump” ability is now integrated directly into Fuse’s base kit, expanding his mobility options.
Conduit has received a visual update to her Tactical ability. Players will now see a shield-bar preview that displays the expected amount of Temp Shield generation, allowing for more precise timing when supporting teammates under fire. These changes are detailed in the official Electronic Arts patch notes.
Balance Adjustments and Weapon Changes
Beyond the primary reworks, several other Legends and weapons have been tuned. The Legend Axle received a durability nerf, while Catalyst saw an improvement to her tactical cooldown.
- Axle: The health of Axle’s Ultimate has been reduced from 200 HP to 150 HP.
- Catalyst: The cooldown for Piercing Spikes has been reduced from 20 seconds to 15 seconds, allowing for more frequent placement of tactical traps.
- Triple Take: The rate of fire when aiming down sights (ADS) has been increased, improving its effectiveness in mid-to-long-range duels.
- Weapon Assist: The loot pool for Weapon Assist has been expanded. It can now spawn any available base weapon instead of being restricted to a limited selection.
Map Fixes and Ranked Schedule
Update 3.20 addresses over 150 map-related bugs and quality-of-life issues. While these fixes span multiple environments, the majority target World’s Edge to resolve clipping and collision errors reported throughout the season.
Players participating in the competitive circuit should note the upcoming window for the next Ranked milestone. Ranked Ladder 1 is scheduled to run from September 22 to September 27, 2026. This five-day window will serve as the primary competitive focus following the balance shifts introduced in this patch.
