Expression Games released Hell Let Loose Update 21 on September 23, 2026. Labeled as version 1.060.000 on consoles, this update introduces the Conquest game mode and significant balance adjustments to anti-tank weaponry and armored vehicle lethality.
New Conquest Game Mode
The Conquest mode shifts the tactical focus toward a Morale resource system. Each team begins a match with 1,000 Morale points. Victory is achieved by reducing the opposing team’s Morale to zero or by having the higher Morale count when the match timer expires. This system places a direct cost on player deaths, vehicle losses, and the loss of territory, requiring more conservative resource management than the standard Warfare or Offensive modes.
Weaponry and Fire-Mode Selection
Update 21 introduces rifle grenades and expands mechanical controls for several existing firearms. Rifle grenades are now available for the Karabiner 98k, M1 Garand, and SMLE No.1 Mk III, providing infantry with additional indirect fire capabilities.
Additionally, a fire-mode selection toggle has been added to the following weapons:
- MG34
- FG42
- STG 44
- M1918A2 BAR
- Thompson
- Bren
- Sten
- PPSH 41
Anti-Tank and Armor Balance Changes
Anti-tank (AT) guns have received a significant handling buff. The barrel rotation speed for AT guns has increased from 1 degree per second to 3 degrees per second, allowing crews to track moving targets more effectively.
Tank High Explosive (HE) shells have undergone a systematic radius increase to improve their effectiveness against infantry. The changes show a scaling trend based on the tank’s classification:
- Heavy Tanks: HE radius increased from 15m to 18m.
- IS-1 and Tiger Tanks: HE radius increased to 19m.
Commander and Vehicle Logistics
Commanders now have more flexibility in managing the battlefield’s motorized assets. The maximum vehicle spawn limit for the Commander has been increased from 5 to 8. To help sustain these increased deployments, the rewards for salvaging destroyed vehicles have been boosted. Players who salvage wrecks will now receive 1.5x to 2x more Fuel than previously, along with associated XP rewards.
