Hell Let Loose Update 1.5.2 Patch Notes: AMD FSR 4.1 and Server Fixes

Team17 has released hotfix 1.5.2 for Hell Let Loose, identified as version 1.013.000 on consoles. The update, which went live on September 29, 2026, focuses on integrating advanced upscaling technology and stabilizing server performance.

AMD FSR 4.1 Support

The primary technical addition in this update is the implementation of AMD FSR 4.1. This initial rollout is specific to certain hardware and platforms:

  • Supported Hardware: AMD Radeon RX 7000 Series GPUs and newer architectures.
  • Legacy Support: FSR 4.1 support for the Radeon RX 6000 Series is currently planned for a 2027 update.

Iris Replication and Server Stability

To address connectivity issues, Team17 has updated the “Iris” replication system. The update improves server reliability and targets several critical gameplay elements:

  • Improved server reliability for high-population matches.
  • Resolved synchronization errors affecting Headquarters (HQs).
  • Fixed issues with vehicle placement and spawn point consistency.

Visual and Platform Fixes

Beyond networking, the patch resolves a visual bug where trees would fail to transition from 2D “impostor” models to full 3D models at close range. This fix ensures that foliage maintains its intended depth as players move through the map.

Platform-specific improvements include new safeguards for PlayStation 5 users to prevent the loss of save data. Additionally, the developers addressed a bug where signing out of Epic Online Services (EOS) would cause a reset of the player’s game settings.

Players can find the full technical breakdown of these changes via the official patch notes on Steam.
