The Crew Motorfest Update 1.25 Patch Notes: Year Pass 4 and Tomb Raider Content

Ubisoft Ivory Tower has released The Crew Motorfest update 1.25, marking the launch of Season 11 and the beginning of Year Pass 4. The update, which went live on October 7, 2026, introduces two new playlists and expands the game’s vehicle roster with seaplanes and 6-wheelers. This patch also prepares the title for its debut on the Nintendo Switch 2, scheduled for October 8, 2026.

Season 11 and New Playlists

Season 11 centers on exploration and brand partnerships, introducing two distinct primary playlists:

  • Kaua’i Expeditions: A new series of challenges focused on off-road traversal.
  • Tomb Raider: Secrets of Ni’ihau: A crossover playlist featuring themed objectives and rewards.

New Vehicle Categories and Mechanics

Update 1.25 introduces significant additions to the vehicle lineup and environmental interaction. Players now have access to Seaplanes, allowing for transitions between water and air, and 6-wheelers. The Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6Ɨ6 is the flagship entry for this new category, featuring physics modeling designed for its unique axle configuration.

To support off-road utility, the update adds a Winch feature. This mechanic allows eligible vehicles to attach to hard surfaces and specific objects, providing a tool for recovery and navigation in difficult terrain.

TrackForge and Customization

The TrackForge toolset has been expanded with the Pure Dirt TrackForge Kit. This update adds 200 new modules for custom track creation, providing more assets for building off-road racing circuits.

Fixes and Nintendo Switch 2 Launch

The 1.25 patch includes several technical refinements across all platforms. A notable visual fix addresses an issue where Rayman’s head would appear inside the hood camera view while driving RC cars. Following the deployment of this update on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, The Crew Motorfest launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on October 8, 2026, bringing the full Motorfest experience to Nintendo’s new hardware for the first time.

Gameplay Impact

The introduction of the Winch and 6-wheelers shifts the gameplay focus toward utility-based exploration. While previous updates emphasized speed and racing disciplines, Season 11 prioritizes environmental navigation. The addition of seaplanes further integrates the map’s water bodies into the core gameplay loop, as these vehicles can now utilize docks and open water for takeoff and landing during free roam and specific events.
