LEGO Announces First Official Star Wars and Marvel Crossover Set via Ideas Challenge

LEGO has announced a collaboration that could bring the Marvel and Star Wars universes together in official LEGO Ideas sets. The “Hope Assembles” LEGO Ideas challenge, unveiled at New York Comic Con on October 10, 2026, invites fans to design a creation that could eventually become an official product.

A Multiverse Comic Tie-In

The building challenge serves as a direct tie-in to the upcoming Star Wars/Marvel: Hope Assembles comic book series. Written by Kevin Smith and David Marquez, the series was recently expanded from five issues to six during the NYCC announcement. The crossover event is scheduled to launch in January 2027.

According to reporting from the event, the story will be considered canon within the main Marvel Comics universe. Smith has already teased that the series involves a narrative arc where Darth Vader attempts to locate and wield the Infinity Gauntlet.
