ARC Raiders Update 1.000.064 Patch Notes: Grappling Hook and Xbox Stability Fixes

Embark Studios released ARC Raiders update 1.000.064 on October 13, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This update, internally recognized as version 2.1.0, prioritizes technical refinements to world navigation and hardware-specific memory management, alongside a critical correction for the Hairpin weapon’s damage scaling.

Traversal and Navigation Improvements

The primary focus of this update is the reliability of the Grappling Hook, particularly when navigating the verticality of Pendola Pass. Raiders should notice more consistent ledge and roof vaulting when using the hook to scale structures. These adjustments aim to reduce instances where vaulting failed to trigger, smoothing out high-stakes movement during expeditions.

World navigation aids have also been adjusted. The visibility range for Gondola markers on both the compass and map has been increased from 120m to 175m, making extraction and transit points easier to track from a distance.

Weapon Balance and Skill Fixes

A significant correction has been applied to the Hairpin weapon. The “Semi-Auto Amplification” node now correctly applies its intended reduced headshot damage. Previously, this damage calculation was inconsistent, leading to higher output than designed.

Other vital fixes for Raider skills and environment interactions include:

  • Broad Shoulders: This skill now activates immediately upon spawning. This prevents a bug where Raiders were unable to sprint even if they were under their carry limits.
  • Field Repair: Raiders no longer need to restart the game client for this skill to function if it is unlocked during an active session.
  • ARC Frigate: The hatches on ARC Frigates now inflict burning damage over time to any Raider in proximity while they are opening, adding an environmental hazard to these encounters.

Stability and Hardware Optimization

To improve stability on the Xbox Series S, Embark Studios has implemented targeted memory optimizations. These reductions in memory usage specifically affect the Spaceport, Buried City, and Dam battlegrounds. These changes address hardware constraints on the Series S to prevent crashes during intensive combat or traversal in these large-scale environments.
