Goalie Logic and Gameplay Tuning
The update includes a correction to goalie behavior. Developers have adjusted goalie logic to specifically reduce the success rate of the stride-deke goal, a move intended to counter scoring patterns identified by the player base. This change impacts offensive approaches during breakaways and shootouts.
Additional gameplay adjustments include:
- Pressure Meter: The decay speed of the Pressure Meter now increases once the puck leaves the offensive zone.
- Stamina Recovery: Energy recovery rates for penalty-kill units have been adjusted to match those of even-strength units.
Connected Franchise and HUT Stability
Connected Franchise fixes address crashes and soft locks that occurred during critical management phases. These fixes target errors encountered during league creation, team management, and free-agent claims.
In Hockey Ultimate Team, five new filters have been added to the Line Combination Glossary to streamline squad building. Players can now filter by:

- Collection Type
- League
- Team
- Nationality
Authenticity and Visual Updates
EA Sports has updated several presentation elements to better reflect real-world accuracy. This includes the removal of the “LET’S GO RANGERS CHANT” from the New York Rangers goal song. Center-ice designs have also been updated for three teams:

- St. Louis Blues
- Toronto Maple Leafs
