Apple released the first developer beta of iOS 27.3 on November 3, 2026, introducing a substantial overhaul of the Health app and a significant expansion of Siri’s ability to interact with third-party and system applications. The update, carrying build number 24C5037i, marks the return of features previously previewed but refined for this mid-cycle release.
The centerpiece of the update is a redesigned Health app, which now organizes data into two primary new tabs: Insights and Longevity. The Longevity tab is particularly focused on long-term wellness, categorized into seven specific health pillars. Within this section, Apple has introduced a “Health Age” metric that uses biological health data to calculate a user’s age relative to their chronological age.

For users seeking deeper medical integration, the Health app now allows for direct scheduling of lab work through a partnership with Quest Diagnostics. According to Apple’s developer documentation, this includes a $119 lab panel integration directly within the app interface.
Additionally, a new “Movement Assessment” feature utilizes the iPhone camera and Apple Watch sensors to evaluate a user’s flexibility and strength. Apple has noted that these assessments do not record or store video during the process to maintain user privacy.
Expanded Siri Actions
iOS 27.3 beta 1 expands the reach of Apple Intelligence-driven Siri actions to 15 different apps. Siri can now execute multi-step tasks such as scheduling iMessages to be sent at specific times or creating complex playlists within the Music app.

Safari Upgrades and System Refinements
Safari receives two major functional upgrades in this build:
- Vertical Tabs: A new layout option that moves the tab bar to the side of the screen, mirroring desktop-class browsing workflows.
- Adaptive Dark Mode: This feature forces a dark interface on websites that do not natively support dark mode, improving visual consistency across the web.
Beyond the browser, Apple has expanded features that were previously exclusive to the iPhone Duo. Unique StandBy mode clock faces have now been made available for other compatible iPhone models in this beta.
For fitness enthusiasts, Apple Fitness+ has added “Gym Strength,” a personalized four-week training program designed for users with access to gym equipment.
Apple has not yet confirmed if the Quest Diagnostics integration will be available in regions outside the United States at launch.
