Netflix has officially renewed “Nobody Wants This” for a fourth season, confirming the show’s future only two weeks after the launch of its third installment. The renewal, announced on November 6, 2026, follows a record-breaking performance for the romantic comedy series.

The decision comes on the heels of significant viewership data. Season 3, which premiered on October 22, 2026, accumulated 13.4 million views within its first 14 days on the platform. This performance established the series as the most-watched returning comedy opening week for Netflix in 2026.

The creative team behind the series will remain intact for the upcoming episodes. Creator Erin Foster is set to return alongside showrunners Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan. Netflix VP Tracey Pakosta characterized the series as a “cultural phenomenon” following the renewal, highlighting the show’s ability to maintain high engagement across multiple seasons.

Narratively, the fourth season is expected to explore the immediate aftermath of the Season 3 finale. The most recent run concluded with Joanne and Noah finally tying the knot in an impromptu beach wedding in Malibu. New episodes will likely shift focus toward their transition into married life while addressing the unresolved tension surrounding Sasha and Morgan’s relationship.

Production for the fourth season is slated to take place in Los Angeles, keeping the series grounded in its signature Southern California setting. The production joins a slate of other major Netflix titles currently filming in the area, including the fifth season of “The Lincoln Lawyer.”

Since its debut, Nobody Wants This has maintained a consistent production cycle. The series was previously renewed for its third season in November 2025, allowing for the steady release cadence that has helped solidify its status as a cornerstone of the streamer’s comedy programming.
