Peach Bowl: LSU (-13) vs. Oklahoma, O / U 75.5
The Tigers are a massive favorite for the Sooners in the peach bowl on Saturday, December 28th. LSU has had its best season in over 60 years and Joe Burrow is going to become the school’s first Heisman Trophy winner since winning the Billy Cannon Prize in 1959. Burrow is one of the 3,000 you would prefer to win award this Saturday, making him the most popular favorite we’ve seen since Troy Smith won the 2006 Heisman Trophy.
LSU was originally -10 since the start of odds on college football football, but a cash inflow on the Tigers led to this takeoff line. Oklahoma did not look sharp from its loss to Kansas City, Manhattan, beating Iowa, three points, Baulo and four points from the BSE before finally winning comfortably at Blam. The Sooners had to overtake Baylor in overtime at the Big 12 Championship Game to get there, and they would not have been selected by Utah if Utah had beaten Oregon in the Pac 12 Championship Game on Friday night.
Fiesta Bowl: Clemson (-2) vs. Ohio, O / U 63.5
Dabo Swinney may believe that defending national champions are violated, but odds players believe in Clemson. The Tigers are the No. 1 seed. 3, but they are little favorites at No. 2 Ohio at the Fiesta Bowl on Saturday, December 28th.
Clemson has pasted every team that has played in the last two months. All Tigers’ wins came at least 31 points and they beat Virginia 62-17 in the Championship ACC game last week. Meanwhile, the state of Ohio has had a hard time getting past Wisconsin, which needs to rally from a 21-7 halftime deficit to keep its undefeated season alive.

Cotton: Penn State (-7) vs. Memphis, O / U 60.5
Special teams could play an important role in the cotton cup, as Penn State and Memphis have two of the best special teams units in the country. Memphis has returned 10 kickoffs for touchdowns since early 2018, and the Tigers have the third-best special teams in the country since SP +. Penn State is one of the nation’s best in preventing returns, allowing just 262 total return yards per season, and the Nittany Lions admit a small 1.8 yards per punt return.
The Nittany Lions will use a new offensive coordinator for this game although Ricky Rahne has become the new coach at Old Dominion. Rahne has been OK in Happy Valley since Joe Moorhead left to take the job as head of State Mississippi for two years, and that could create some hiccups in an offense that could be without starter K.J. Hamler also if he declares early on the NFL draft.
Orange Bowl: Florida (-13.5) vs. Virginia, O / U 55
Virginia makes her first trip to the orange bowl after her best season in over 20 years. However, the Wahoos are one of the biggest bowlers of the bowl era. Bryce Perkins did his best to lead the Cavaliers to the first ACC Coastal title in program history, but odds players believe Florida’s defense will close and shake off the offense.
Perkins was responsible for 78% of UVA’s offense this season. The Gators have one of the best defenses in the country, however, coming in seventh in the SP +. That could lead to a long day for Virginia, as SP + rates the Cavaliers as the 45th best team in the country, behind 6-6 teams like Michigan State and Tulane.

Rose Bowl: Wisconsin (-2.5) vs. Oregon, O / U 51
If this year’s Rose Bowl is anything like the Rose Bowl 2012 between Oregon and Wisconsin, we’re all in for a treat. That year, “The Granddaddy of Them All”, Oregon and Wisconsin combined for 1,129 yards and set a Bowl Rose record with 83 combined points. This year’s edition is likely to see significantly less ratings along the betting lines.
Both Oregon and Wisconsin want to run the ball and trust their defense to make big plays. The Ducks ran all of the best defense in the country last week at the Pac 12 Championship Game and the Badgers were one of the best teams to have played in the last two decades. This will weigh on both teams to stop running in Pasadena.
Sugar Bowl: Georgia (-7.5) vs. Baylor, O / U 42.5
UGA hopes Baylor decides not to bring any of its live bear mascots to the Sugar Bowl after Bevo broke almost last year. This disastrous event caused what was to come as Texas hit Georgia in the bowl of sugar, beating the Bulldogs 28-21 as an outsider.
Baylor is not nearly as outsider as Matt Rhule has the Bears play their best defense in the Big 12. That almost led Baylor to beat Oklahoma twice, but the Bears fell short both times and had to settle for a NY6 game instead of a place in the College Football Playoff.
