An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale struck the province of Moluccas in eastern Indonesia.
A statement from the Indonesian Agency of Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics said today that the epicenter of the earthquake occurred 16 km from Masuhi city in the province, at a depth of 40 km.
So far there have been no reports of material or human losses due to the earthquake.
