The City of Jeddah has approved the activities to be launched as part of the preparations for the celebrations of the 91st National Kingdom Day, which will begin on September 23 with the slogan “It is our home” in the main streets, squares, buildings, gates and others. .
Jeddah Mayor’s Acting Undersecretary for Community Services, Ing. Saeed bin Ali Al-Qarni, said that for two days Jeddah residents and visitors will have a rendezvous with folk art shows, children’s contests and wandering dolls. to the National King Abdulaziz Cultural Center, according to the identity of the National Day, through plastic artists.
Al-Qarni indicated that the City organized an exhibition match at the Fireball stadium in Prince Sultan Street, with the participation of a group of stars of art and sport, in addition to the cycling event with the participation of 50 cyclists and bicycles of the Courage Cycling Team, which starts from Al-Amana Street, passing through the Central Corniche , Palestine Street and Andalus Street, and from then back to Al Amana Street.
He added that the activities will include the launch of two initiatives for afforestation and the increase of green areas in collaboration with the Al Ber Association and a trading company, in Al Yamama Walk, Al Nakheel Garden, Prince Nayef Street and Prince Faisal bin Fahd Walk.
The Undersecretary for Community Services has indicated that the streets and squares will be adorned with flags in Al Salam Street, King Road, Baya’a Square, Madinah Road, Hamza Shehata Street, Schools Street, Al Qassim Bin Umayya Street in Hamdaniya, Al Amana Street, Royal Hall Bridge and Globe Square, as well as display bright at the gates of Madinah Road.
