A new feature for WhatsApp “Hide messages” automatically

The “WhatsApp” service has added a new feature to the “hide messages” function from conversations that allows it to work “automatically” for new individual chats.

When the feature was first launched in November last year, users were only allowed to choose other specific users to hide messages and the new update allows it to automatically activate for all new messages, after a period of time chosen by the ‘user.

It was not allowed to hide messages until after seven days, but now users can delete them after 24 hours or 90 days in addition to the seven-day period.

“It should be up to you to decide how long a message lasts,” the WhatsApp blog said.

“You will be in able to make all new chats disappear by default after 24 hours, 7 days or 90 days. Not all messages have to stay forever, “Mark Zuckerberg, founder of the Meta company that owns the application, said in his Facebook account.
