A Palestinian was killed yesterday at dawn by Israeli army bullets during clashes in Jenin, in the northern occupied West Bank, Palestinian sources confirmed.
The Palestinian health ministry told AFP that Mohammed Marei, 25, “was shot in the chest”.
The Israeli army declared in a statement that “a number of suspects fired explosive devices at the IDF soldiers, who returned fire.”
The incident comes less than a week after the Israeli army kills a 16-year-old Palestinian boy in the northern West Bank city of Salud.
