A plane crash kills 2 people in Ecuador

Two people were killed and another injured after a private plane crashed and crashed in two busy neighborhoods in the north of Ecuador’s second largest city, Guayaquil, on Tuesday.

Mayor Cristina Vetteri said she witnessed the incident as it happened, as she was two blocks from the crash site. According to the prime information available on the incident, no damage was caused to residential buildings in the area. Rescuers have isolated the scene of the accident. The Civil Aviation Authority confirmed that the plane was in flight between the cities of Manta, 380 km southwest of the capital Quito, and the city of Guayaquil.
