A Kuwaiti emiri order was issued today to accept the resignation of Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister and ministers, and instruct them to deal with urgent matters until the formation of the new government, according to the Kuwait news agency.
Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received the government’s resignation on April 5, after the issuance of an order by His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah of seek the assistance of His Highness in exercising some of the emir’s constitutional powers.
