The most recent Bloomberg Power On newsletter shows Apple will unveil its headgear this spring. The announcement would occur in June before Apple’s WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference). The headgear would be available to the general public in the fall of 2023.

“Apple has already shared the gadget with a limited number of high-profile software developers for testing, allowing them to begin work on third-party apps,” Mark Gurman reports.According to Report, The Apple VR Headset Will Be Announced This Spring

Dubbed the “Reality Pro,” according to the report, the Apple VR headset will utilize a new operating system called xrOS. It will also be a mixed-reality headset, allowing for virtual and augmented reality experiences. The report should have included other details such as resolution, peripherals, and compatibility. That information is expected to come when it’s officially announced.

Recently, HTC announced its new VR headset, the Vive XR Elite, which will cost $1,099.99. Meta has another new headset in the $1,500 Meta Quest Pro. There’s no word about what the Apple VR headset may cost. Still, it wouldn’t be surprising to see it around the same price range—especially considering the “Pro” naming.
