Ajay Devgn Celebrates 19 Years Of The Legend Of Bhagat Singh

It’s been 19 years since the release of the iconic movie, The Legend of Bhagat Singh, and actor Ajay Devgn celebrates by penning a beautiful note. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, The Legend of Bhagat Singh was released in 2002 and starred Ajay Devgn in the titular role as the revolutionary Bhagat Singh, along with Sushant Singh, D. Santosh, and Akhilendra Mishra as the other lead characters. The film also starred Raj Babbar, Farida Jalal, and Amrita Rao in supporting roles. The film chronicles Bhagat Singh’s life from his childhood where he witnesses the Jallianwala Bagh massacre until the day he was hanged to death.

Celebrating 19 years of the movie, Ajay Devgn tweeted, “It is not sufficient to play a revolutionary like Bhagat Singhji, once in your lifetime & career. You need to keep him there constantly…After all, these are those who wrote history with their Drop of blood #19YearsOfTheLegendOfBhagatSingh #RajkumarSantoshi” Meanwhile, on the work front, Ajay Devgn has series of movies line-up for release as leading actor and cameo appearances.
He will soon be seen in Sooryavanshi, Gangubai Kathiawadi, RRR, Maidaan, Bhuj: The Pride of India, Thank God, and Mayday. Thank God is written and directed by Indra Kumar with production by T-Series and Maruti International. The film also features Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles.
