The National Bank of Saudi Arabia has announced plans to issue denominated sukuk in US dollars as part of the International Sukuk program established on November 15, 2021, through a special purpose company, and to offer it to qualified investors inside and outside Saudi Arabia.
The bank said today, Monday, in a statement on “Tadawul Saudi Arabia”, which unsecured priority sukuk are named in US dollars and the value and terms of the sukuk offer will be determined in based on market conditions.
The bank said it has appointed Citi Global Markets Limited, Emirates NBD, Goldman Sachs International, HSBC plc, Mizuho International PLC and Al Ahli Capital as bookrunner and bookrunner in relation to the offer.
The bank said the issuance of the sukuk takes place for the bank’s general business purposes and to meet its financial and strategic objectives.
