Al-Jubeir holds a series of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the Conference (COP27).

His Excellency the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member and Climate Envoy, Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, today held a series of bilateral meetings with their Excellencies and Excellencies who attended the United Nations Conference on climate change (COP27), currently in course in Sharm El-Sheikh, Arab Republic of Egypt.

On the sidelines of the conference, His Excellency met His Excellency President Chan Drikapersad Santokhi, President of the Republic of Suriname, His Excellency President Wavil Ramkalla Wan, President of the Republic of Seychelles, His Excellency Albert Ramdin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Suriname , His Excellency the Minister of Climate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Ms Sherry Rahman, and the Executive Director of the United Nations Program, United Nations Under-Secretary-General for the Environment, Ms Inger Andersen.

During the bilateral meetings, the most important topics on the agenda of the COP27 conference were examined and the actual contributions and continuous support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to address climate change at regional and international level, including the “Green Middle East “and the” Green Middle East “initiatives of Saudi Arabia”, in addition to the Kingdom’s efforts to point to zero greenhouse gas emissions through the circular carbon economy approach, which contributes to the achievement of the international sustainable development goals.
