Al-Mashal meets with Saudi members of AFC committees

Today, Tuesday, Saudi Football Association chairman of the board, Yasser bin Hassan Al-Mishal, held a meeting with Saudi members of the committees of the Asian Football Confederation, on the sidelines of the final match of the AFC Champions League, which will bring together the Al-Hilal representative with his South Korean counterpart, Pohang Steelers, tomorrow, Tuesday, at the King Fahd International Airport stadium in Riyadh.

The meeting was attended by Saudi members of the AFC committees: Khaled Al-Thubaiti (Executive Office), Ibrahim Al-Qasim (Competition Committee), Nazih Al-Nasr (Social Responsibility Committee), Adwa Al-Arefi (Committee for women’s football), Bandar Al-Hamidani (Legal Committee), Omar Bakhshwin (Technical Committee), Dr. Saleh Al-Harthy (Medical Committee), Marei Al-Awaji (Referee Committee), Dr. Khaled Ba Nasr (Committee for monitoring eligibility for participation in Asian Championships) and Dr. Shaker Al-Thiabi (Media Committee).

Al-Mishal thanked the Saudi members of the AFC committees for their great commitment to the interest of Asian football and for presenting an honorable image of the country through their presence on the committees of the Continental Federation.

The President of the Saudi Federation underlined the importance of working side by side with the Asian Confederation, to realize the aspirations of the two federations for the benefit of the continent’s football, which in recent years has seen considerable development and growth.
