Al-Qadi inspects the veterinary teams participating in the Crown Prince Festival

The Director of the Office of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in Taif Governorate, engineer Hani bin Abdul Rahman Al-Qadi, and his deputy, Wael Al-Saadi, inspected this morning, Wednesday , the veterinary teams participating in the third edition of the Crown Prince’s Day.

For his part, engineer Hani Al-Qadi, director of the ministry office in Taif, said that the festival, which enjoys great support and attention from the crown prince, may God protect him, teams from the department participate animal wealth from the Office of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in Taif Governorate and an integrated veterinary framework to contribute to the success of the festival.

Al-Qadi indicated that the duties of the teams participating in the third edition of the Crown Prince Festival include the monitoring of the races, the epidemiological investigation, obtaining health certificates for the departure, awareness and orientation for the owners of participating camels, as well as providing medicines and treatment for cases of disease, noting that several minor injuries occurred during the race.

Al-Qadi stressed that the efforts of the ministry office in Taif continue under the supervision and monitoring of the ministry branch in the Mecca region, in order to achieve all desired goals to serve the participating camel owners and to ensure the continuity of the camels in the competition fields.

Next Saturday, September 11, 2021, the races of the Crown Prince Camel Festival, in its third edition, which began on August 8, will end with prizes worth 53 million riyals, and a total of 531 run uniforms in two “preliminary – final” phases. The festival also awarded one million riyals to the crown prince’s sword prize which will be won by the owner of the camel with the most points in the round general of the festival
