Algerian midfielder Boudaoui excels with French club and sparks high expectations.

Nice’s French midfielder Hicham Boudaoui, who plays for Algeria internationally, has been in impressive form recently and has earned himself a contract extension with his club until 2027. His coach, Didier Degard, has praised Boudaoui’s all-rounder abilities, stating that the player can do everything and that there are no limits to his potential. Boudaoui’s performances have been likened to those of French footballer Jean Tigana, and some have even referred to him as “the new Kante”, after French and Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante. Algeria’s national team could also benefit from Boudaoui’s performances, as they have experienced difficulties in their defensive midfield since the departure of Adlan Kadiura. Boudaoui is playing in the Conference League competition, the third most important competition in the continental table, with Nice and has been pivotal in their success so far. He has played 98 games for the club and has contributed to 17 goals. Boudaoui has a market value of €5 million.
