The French company “Alstom” has announced the opening of its regional office in Riyadh, as part of its plan to expand its operations in the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council and in the Middle East.
Alstom said Tuesday today that the new office will provide marketing and financing services for operations in the region, as well as rail maintenance and supplier quality development services.
He added that the new office will further benefit from Saudi Vision 2030 to encourage the development of regional talent and effectively develop local capacities in the Kingdom. in in line with Alstom’s growth.
He explained that he will support innovations in railway infrastructure in Saudi Arabia and will monitor a fleet of 748 vehicles in the Riyadh metro, the Jeddah airport train and the Al-Haramain train.
The office will be managed by a team of railway mobility engineers and date scientist with the opportunity to provide advanced skills and digital services for both Alstom and non-Alstom trains, infrastructures and signals within and outside the Kingdom.
