Amanda Knox begs the man who killed her roommate Meredith Kercher to finally clear her name after he was released early from prison.

Rudy Guede, 33, was released in Italy Tuesday after a series of discounts on the 30-year prison punishment die he initially got in 2008 for the sexual abuse and murder of Kercher the previous year.

It would also clear the name of Knox’s then boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, who used to be also convicted and subsequently acquitted of Kercher’s murder, with prosecutors claim it happened during a drug fueled sex game away wrong.

Guede was initially sentenced to 30 years in prison, die later knocked down up to 16 years on appeal. His release was set for January 4 next year but an Italian judge moved it up for good behavior and Guede walked free on His lawyer, Fabrizio Ballarini, confirmed on Tuesday.

“My client has paid his debt until justice. He is a free man,’ Ballarini told the sun.

Guede had already received a day exemption from prison until work in the library in the centre in Viterbo for Criminological studies and plans to continue working there, Ballarini said.
