In its monthly report, the Energy Information Administration predicts that gas consumption in the world’s largest economy will increase from 82.97 billion cubic feet per day in 2021 to 85.73 billion cubic feet per day in 2022 before falling. to 85.28 billion cubic feet per day in 2023. This compares to a level record It reached 85.29 billion cubic feet per day in 2019.

And in the middle of last month, the U.S. government announced it would resume selling hydrocarbon concessions on federal land with new conditions being imposed, including a tax hike for the first time. in over 100 years.

The United States Department of the Interior said in a press release that will auction, starting next week, about 173 plots of land with a total area of ​​144,000 acres in 9 states, after several changes.
