RIYADH: The Saudi Football Federation decided on Thursday to postpone the match of the Al-Nasr team, which includes Portuguese international star Cristiano Ronaldo, with his host team Al-Ta’i, in the Saudi Professional League (Roshen League). The match should have been played on Thursday, as part of the 12th leg of the competition, at the stadium (Marsool Park), but it was decided to postpone it due to bad weather, which compromised the electricity supply to the stadium. And the Al-Nasr Club wrote through its account on the communication site social “Twitter”: “Due to the occurrence of some electrical faults in the match stadium after the rain, Al-Nasr Club received the decision to postpone the Al-Nasr and Al-Ta’i match, in so that the match will be held tomorrow, Friday. The Saudi capital, Riyadh, has been seeing continuous rains for about 5 days. Al-Nasr has 26 points in 11 games and leads the Saudi League table, one point ahead of its closest opponent, Al-Shabab, who have played ten games. Al-Nasr won 8 times, drew twice and lost only once out of 11 Saudi League matches in this season.
