An Indonesian Boeing voice recorder was recovered in January

Indonesian Navy divers recovered the voice recorder from the Sriwijaya cockpit that crashed in the Java Sea last January, officials said on Wednesday.

The accident resulted in the death of all 62 passengers on the plane.

Indonesian Transport Minister Bodhi Kariya Sumadi said on Wednesday that divers would use the voice recorder on Tuesday around 8 p.m. local time in near the place where the flight data recorder was previously recovered. The content of the registrants has not yet been disclosed.

The recorder can help investigators determine why the Boeing 737-500 aircraft was shortly after takeoff in Jakarta on January 9th in heavy rain in the ocean fell.
