Anas Jaber qualifies for the second round of Wimbledon at the expense of Björkland

LONDON: The star Second-placed Tunisian Anas Jaber moved on to the second round at Wimbledon after defeating Sweden’s Miriam Björkland 6-1, 6-3 on Monday in the first round of the tournament. And Anas Jaber, third seeded in the tournament, took just 53 minutes to settle the match against Burkeland, who entered the tournament through qualifiers. For the second time in a row, Anas Jaber began participating in one of the four Grand Slam tournaments, after winning a title, where she won the Berlin title and climbed to second place in the world rankings in its version released today, Monday.
