Annual inflation in Tunisia rises to 9.2% in October

Today, Saturday, the National Statistics Institute in Tunisia revealed that the inflation rate rose to 9.2% last October, thus continuing its upward trend since September 2021.

The ratio was between 9.1%, in the previous month, and 8.6%, in August, calculating the annual slippage, food prices increased by 12.9%.

The Institute of Statistics attributed this mainly to the increase in egg prices by 33.3%, mutton prices by 21.1%, edible oils by 20.8%, and fresh vegetable prices by 18. , 5%, beef prices by 15.1% and poultry prices by 15%.
