Apex Legends Season 18: Revenant Gets a Game-Changing Rework – Full Details Inside
Apex Legends: Resurrection – Season 18 Content Update
Respawn has outlined the exciting new content for the 18th season of Apex Legends.
Titled Apex Legends: Resurrection, the new season will roll out on August 8th and introduce a complete rework of one of the game’s most beloved characters, Revenant.
The revamp of Revenant has been teased for some time, particularly during season 17. Now, this popular legend is set to receive a refresh aimed at bringing him back into competition with the more meta-friendly characters.
New Abilities for Revenant
In the latest update, Revenant gains a new passive ability called Assassin’s Instinct. This means that when crouched, he can now move significantly faster and climb walls at an increased speed.
Revenant’s other new ability, which is arguably the most useful, grants him the power to identify low-health enemies in close proximity through the environment and mark them for his teammates.
While the duration for which players will be highlighted is limited, there are currently no plans to restrict the number of low-health players Revenant can spot. However, the developers will monitor this to ensure balanced gameplay.
Replacing Silence, Revenant now possesses the new Shadow Pounce ability. As the name suggests, this allows him to quickly close the gap between himself and his enemy to finish off low-health opponents. This new move is designed to complement his passives and make him a more formidable pick in Apex Legends.
Experience the Changes
Respawn has announced that, for the duration of Season 18, Revenant will be available for all players to use, providing everyone with the chance to experience the character’s exciting updates firsthand.
