The Jordanian national team has qualified for the final of the 2021 Arab Women’s Football Championship to be held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, after a 5-2 victory over Egypt, at the Arab Contractors Stadium, in the semifinal phase.
The Jordanian team opened the scoring with the trio formed by Maysa Jbara, Shahnaz Jibrin and Rosebhan Freij, before the Egyptian team scored the goal of the reduction of the differential with the player Sarah Hassanein, closing the first half with the score of 3-1 .
In the second half, Jordanian player Maysa Jbara bolstered the progress of her national team with her fourth goal, while Sally Metwally scored the Egyptian team’s second goal, before Rosebhan Frij finished the result with a fifth goal.
The Jordanian team thus qualifies for the final, which will be held next Monday at the Arab Contractors Stadium in Cairo.
